| The smart sub meter monitors electricity usage in a comprehensive way, recording such things as voltage, current, power factor, reactive power and units (kWh) consumed. It does this for each individual phase in a three phase system. Many other variables, for example, tonnes of carbon (CO2) emitted during operation, can be deduced by the software from these measurements. Measurements are normally recorded at fifteen minute intervals but it is possible, where needed for analysis of a particular problem, to record readings as often as every minute. |
